As I unsuccessfully try to choose between Black Desert and Tera it came to me that this game has seen better times.
So, my question is:
IS THERE ANY INFO CONCERNING FUTURE OF TERA, LIKE, ARE THEY PLANNING TO SHUT THE GAME DOWN OR AT LEAST TRY TO RESTORE IT TO HER OLD DAYS OF GLORY ?

    I'd say TERA has about 1-2 more patches before its playerbase hits the deadzone. At an estimate. Maybe less if this management continues and the game keeps being flooded with bugs.

    This totally sounds weird, but: TERA has got LEGS (and I'm not referring to our characters). I believe that TERA has got a long future, mostly because of our loyal player base. It's on us to ensure that our players are enjoying the game and treated with respect. But if we do it, they will come.

    Forums is the worst place to ask, it's always the "game will die in a couple months" that gets thrown every time, yet somehow the game is still here even after hundreds of times it was "going to shut down".

    In my humble opinion, Tera really needs another major patch in the near future. New areas, and a way to keep the open world interesting for endgame players. Throwing in a few new dungeons now and then just isn't enough, especially if they recycle old bosses and attack patterns. To me this indicates either a lack of creativity or a lack of resources, both of which don't really evoke any form of trust.

    The grind part for new gear I guess is to be expected from an asian mmo, but in the long run, this really can't be all that's in each future patch.

    Just play what you have fun playing, I've played Tera since beta with 1 friend, we usually instance match everything together and get it done fine, maybe not in record breaking time but at the end of the day we get what we want done. We're both waiting for new gear to come out so we can switch into it from the imp set. There are times we don't see each other so its just solo life its whatever though its fun.

    As far s trying new stuff, most of "us" have eyes now on Revelations Online.

    I player SWtOR since launch, almost 5 years now.
    Played Black Desert for all of 3 hours bluuch.
    Been playing Blade and Soul since launch, it's ok but a grind fest and really expensive.

    Have to say as far as actual playing goes I always have fun playing TERA the most. Still having fun for an hour doesn't really do it. The game is in DESPERATE need for new fresh large content. There's just simply nothing to do in TERA.
