  • I never had ping problems with Tera in over 2 years until some 6 months ago where I found out first hand for almost 4 months straight how infuriating having abnormal ping spikes was like. It was the worst possible experience and I almost gave up on Tera. Luckily that ordeal is now over for me but knowing how frustrating is to have high ping spikes day after day I support this thread :+1: . If possible please look into this EME, Think of the Popos!
  • idk if it's related but my ping went from 49 to ~80 and its been around 80 these past couple weeks. RIP :/
  • My ping has also been 40 to 50 ms higher than normal 100 for the past 2 or 3 weeks. It's strange, since I remember last year around this season the exact thing happened, I remember having to google about ping reducers, vpns and stuff, found ou aboutt watfast (was free back then) and it fixed my ping from the 250 ms constant down to 150. This time however wtfast isn't giving me the 100 ms back, it's does nothing in fact.

So you had ping spikes for 4 months, but then it stopped? Did you switch internet providers or something?

I had a 4MB Internet speed and my ping was stable @ 126*. But then one day my ping started spiking to 200-900 and it kept this on a daily basis (most common was 400-700) So I switched ISP to another 4MB Internet Speed (Puerto Rico doesn't have good ISP's.. not in the area I live anyways ;--;) And the problem persisted but one day it eventually went away. Now my ping is stable @ 90-120 and only goes up if I'm running utorrent.

Edit: I'd like to add that I played tera for close to a year with 4MB internet speed with 126ms NO LAG. It's hard to believe but I don't think it was the speed that caused this. Even now I play with 4MB internet speed (different ISP) @ 90-120 no lag/invisible lasers/desync.
