Seems crystals learned 'Ninja Jutsu' as well
It was just a typical day of TERA, new class came and everyone rolled it.
There were changes in game, new ui of guild, new event that caused horrible lag all day so you can't do a thing, lot of rage and ~yada yada~ you getting to spend night with lady lag even though you didn't ask for it. Like I said typical stuff.
However the thing that caught my attention was that it appears due excitement of new class, the crystals learned 'ninja jutsu' as well to celebrate it.
I know what you thinking "Kishasen enough of cryptic sh*t and bad jokes, you are not funny at all"...true
Anyway onto the point that every sane person can understand without need of translator.
The thing is as we all know, your crystal gets destroyed when you die in pve...right? Well, NO!
Now it can vanish without you even knowing why. I rolled ninja(since there was nothing better to do thanks to lady lag in here) and what I noticed is that one of my crystals disappear once in while, despite the fact that I never died in first place they would disappear. At first I thought this is some funny glitch, so I close game and launcher then re-open it again (now time skip of how TERA didn't allowed me to log back in due broken event), anyway I get back in game and play and play and once more my crystal goes "ninja" on me, despite me not dying. I was starting to think that it perhaps has something to do with failed enchanting attempts, but no it can't be that.
So I thought that this is mabye some bug with ninja class....however it appears not to be so.
Then I log into one of my more normal class (well as much as you can call being priest normal, considering only true masochist will ever even consider being healer) and I go to visit CS dearest. I got cancer raid, it was cancer, got killed once before I decided to not bother with it and that this raid was not worth getting killed over and over again, however I decided to press 'P' to check something out and BAM! My Vyrsk that I had has gone "NINJA"! Nowhere in sight. I entered CS with full crystal set and when I was to check my stats, one of them was missing.
I checked patch notes, forums and everything looking if perhaps there are some changes regarding on "More ways for your crystals to go bie bie" and I found nada regarding it. Was something changed regarding this? Do you lose crystals due failed enchanting, even dying in battlegrounds now? Do crystals now expire or something? Seriously, I'm confused now at what is going on in here with these 'ninja crystals', like seriously confused and I'm one who is meant to confuse everyone in first place.

I did CS fine yesterday, dying a fair bit with all my crystals intact, cant think of what cause this.
I had complete crystalbind.
I always have that thing on. I also have no clue what is causing this. Like I said it doesn't happen 24/7h, but on occasion I will just notice that one of my crystal is gone '?' due unknown reason. If I die then I know what is issue, but problem is that I don't die and when I press 'P' I discover that one crystal vanished for some reason.
Well hopefully you submitted a support ticket as that would be your best bet as you try to find an answer to your dilemma
I don't care that I lost lowbee crystals on ninja randomly, however losing one of lv 65 crystals and Vyrsk itself no less...is problematic.
Ex: You are use 2 earings with stun duration for pvp and 2 other with hp/endurance for pve, both of them using the same 2 crystals. What happen is when you switch to pvp set with crystals then switch back to pve set, the crystals won't get removed from the pvp earings so they won't be reequipped into the pve earings, thus it looked like your crystal went missing. Just check your other accessories, they should be in there (unless you upgrade to better ring/earing and throw away the older one with the vyrsk inside)
