Without NON EQ BGs... there is literally little to no reason to progress gear wise.
OWPVP is dead. CU is/will be dead. Why bother grinding for ONE arena gear?
This change will not help your team 3's q, with the amount of people quitting/taking time off/logging on less due to the BG change it'll overall make Q times worse for everything.
It is actaully the same thing since team 3 has been dead forever. You were really gearing for one bg anyway, FWC. We can now shift that mentality to team 3s.
I missed the point cause tera is more pve and im not going to get your point and i don't care about your new gear is coming i dont care about pvp there CU for that.
again, team 3's is NOT the same as fwc.
FWC = mass pvp battleground
Team 3's = small pvp arena
Totally made up extreme number, but probably close tbh.... 99% of players they lose from FWC will NOT Q for team 3's.
I was making an argument for your point "Why bother grinding for ONE arena gear?". You were basically gearing for FWC ( 1 BG ). Now you can gear for Team 3s (1 BG). We should all be testing our skills and getting better as players. Team 3s will be the best battleground to do that.
If you really think about it though, this change will also impact pve players. Much of the demand for the drops from pve dungeons are from pvp players unwilling/not interested in doing pve but still need the drops regardless to make their pvp set/gear. Take away that demand from pvp players and your pve drops will lose a lot of its perceived value. There's only so many times people are willing to do dungeons that are not physically rewarding after they've mastered mechanics before they just find something else that's more fun to do while waiting for the next patch. I'd say in a few weeks most end game players will be afk waiting for 30 man raid as there's also not much point in gearing in BiS PvE since there's no need to do faster/efficient runs if the drops are barely worthwhile. That in turn will have a dramatically negative effect on PvE in general because it'll be a lot harder to find people to do dungeons with.
FWC and Team 3's is like day and night.
Mass PVP battleground (30 players) =/= Team 3's arena (6 players)...... ???
All im saying is if you think people who grind gear for FWC will move to team 3's... I think you are very wrong.
