Returning player...what's with the installer/patcher?
Downloading the game with the streaming install so I can play while the rest of the game downloads. I press play, and it brings up another window that then starts downloading patches. So I'm simultaneously downloading the game while patching it....that seems like a cocktail for data corruption.
Not to mention the fact it completely defeats the purpose to the streaming download since i can't play it anyway. XD

Last time I used it, it lacked of a few files that Repairing Tool never was able to get, and it crashed every time it needed those files. Download it directly instead, even if you can't play it while downloading, you'll get the game with no added issues
Yeah, I agree. Streaming Download isn't a good option. Even if you won't be able to play as quickly, Direct Download is the best bet. I've had people in dungeons get disconnected as soon as they load in because their internet speed couldn't keep up.
I just thought it was a bit ridiculous to have a streaming download service that allows you to play after about 15% is downloaded. Only to launch the client that starts doing patches. It wasn't even today's patch that it started with. It was several patches ago. Seems to be doing all of the patches from that point to today's patch. At this rate, the base game download will have finished before the patcher. Seems to defeat the purpose, that's why I posted.
