I don't understand the outright lies we were fed. Doesn't EME know this was going to cause massive backlash? That it completely foils their attempt at being "more transparent with the community?" Shame on you, EME, shame on you. You could have at least been upfront about it, but you led your paying customer base on, when you guys knew for at least a while all royal dragons would be behind a paywall. Even if EME's hands are tied by BHS, they could have been more transparent like they promised to be when the last uproar fiasco happened. I'm glad I just unsubscribed from elite, because when a company straight up lies to you, they don't deserve a monthly income from customers.

I love TERA. I've played TERA for a few years now. I want to keep playing TERA. But EME's recent display with the dragon issue and recent silence in response to pleas for bug/other issue fixes is deplorable.

I was SO excited for the Spellbound patch. This wrecked it like a bulldozer.

And guess what ? This used to be a p2p game but the project failed when they understood that they could have earnt much more via f2p, old veterans still remember about tera being p2p.
Not to talk about the fact that Tera devs earn enough money to eat some bread....and not only...I'd say that they earn quite a bit thanks to rng boxes and cash shop feautures, stop white-knighting please, there's no point that can be used to defend them this time

It is. We're not complaining much about the dragons themselves, is about being told lies. EME said that both type of Dragons will be in game, and we'll be able to obtain them freely. Why should we pay for getting the Royal version of the free dragons? Diamond and Ghost were the payable versions of Dragons, that's why they didn't delay them, and were aviable in TERA store for almost a whole month, and now Royal Iron/Crimson are also P2W?

And I repeat my question again cause it's obvious that Tera isn't as good as it used to be anymore....and it's not the best mmo available anymore...not to me at least.
I'm tired of BHS lies and bad decisions led by greed.
I'm not complaining about dragons either, I'm upset cause the game keeps getting worse due to these things, I've seen lots of players and friends quitting cause of so much similar crap that happened to this game and this is just another water drop in a vase where water keeps overflowing ; the developers keep sinking the game by themselves and they don't even seem to aknowledge it.
I'm not blaming EME for what happened even though they did illude us that we were going to get the same mount version via grinding....and this was totally false already, I'm blaming Blue Hole for introducing mounts with these passives in first place....I think we all saw this coming after all.

I agree, id rather have had no mounts then this fiasco. but they cant remove them now, people have spent money, there would be lawsuits.

I wonder if this falls under false advertisement, I started paying for elite just to grind bams and double dungeon entries to get the dragons. If it does we might have a lawsuit on our hands here, we have proof that we were lied to with screenshots and a whole stream to back it up.

I'm done. Daughter gave up on dragons (and Tera) a month ago, she was the smarter of the two of us. I'm off to find a better MMORPG, good luck all, I hope they fix things here.

Are they?? are they really? This is a "Desperate" move... they want people to have the mount for free but really want people to buy it instead... I know, we are all pissed that KTERA got it Practically free but please understand they do this because THEY ARE Struggling

One year before, I really liked of the TERA ADMs, helpful, competent and what they promised, they met. But now, the so big ADMs I find here is not so big anymore. The game which one day I have talked to myself "is the best mmorpg I have played, equality for both, cash and not cash players", is not so good anymore.

Is it ? I don't get how it's "desperate" , I'd suggest other measures if I were desperate. How do you know they are struggling ? No, cause you know...people buy costumes a lot...and they try their luck with boxes a lot more...and I know people who spent more than $ 10.000 on this game and that got that t10 status....and I assume there's more than just 2 or 3 of them....and even the ones who are not at t10 still bought some costumes or got elite in their life.
I don't see them struggling , at all....if they were they'd be more honest towards their community and maybe even ask their playerbase for support.
I wouldn't mind supporting some company if they were honest and fair with their players.
I'm 100% sure EME staff does eat....Tera earns way more than FF XIV just so you know...don't defend them, it's not worth it, not this time, there's no excuse....expecially without proof.

I really don't know why you are all so upset, you really didn't think this was gonna end well. I'm not even really made at EM, because there is no point to it. What did you think EM was gonna do about the dragons, BH said stfu and do what i tell you to do, and EM said yes sir. Because they don't have any power with BH, and for anything to change for the better in Tera, They would have to able take a stand, and say we don't think this is the way to do things in NA, and they don't won't to take that risk and get fired, and I don't have a problem with that. The thing that i have a problem with is that you should stop making promises that you don't have the power to keep. Also the things that you could change you don't have the [filtered] to do it, because you wanna cover your [filtered] and don't wanna get fired. Every employer has to make that same decision every day that's the real world. So just stop saying we don't wanna go full p2w in Tera, when it's clear that's BH wants that model to maximize there profits, and that NA is not their main concern and never has been and never will be. I've played this game for over 3 years so all the people who keep bringing up the glory days, that [filtered] is gone and will never return. Hey EM doesn't have any real power to change this game, and what little power they do have they are not willing to risk it to make this game better for their players. So it is what it is and crying about it won't change anything.

How sad. I just wanted to farm a royal dragon. I held off from swiping so I could farm one. Month later, patch is here and surprise! You can't farm them... Not blaming anyone, but this is some shite.

The grinding needed to get a NORMAL dragon via a double RNG process, means exactly that in order for the players to get the dragons they want, they have to PAY for it. So for the MASS community, its either PAY or dont have it.

Us, the players, we dont have to see any EME's POV. Everyone looks after their own interest, period. I dont know why you keep saying to "understand" EME. Its like if I go to a hotel, and my room is not ready, and i have to understand that the housekeeping department is understaffed, hence I dont get my room in time. WTFFFF

For players that do the grinding it might be a nightmare. But for the casual players, it will be nearly impossible to grind that.
