LKHM too hard for ilvl

Im ilvl 427 conflate rolled for PvE and it has been buffed. Im in a party with a mystic and a priest and still get one shot by any puddle from Lilith (Final boss). They need to increase the ilvl required to 423 and mark it as 5 star dungeon... Normal mode is easy and Hard mode is just insane... the damage the bosses do to you needs to be nerfed.

    lemme just roll pvp gear for pve even though the weapon has no pve dmg lines and the body only have pvp reductions asiide from the random enrage rolls, ill definitly NOT DIE.

    Probably because you're missing:

    Increases damage by 9.3% against enraged monsters.
    Increases damage by 6%.
    Increases damage by 6.9% when attacking from behind.

    Decreases damage taken from enraged monsters by 10%
    Decreases damage taken by 6%.

    That makes a huge difference. Also a lot of bosses do fix/true dmg so defense stats dont mean squat.
  • Atk and def modifier dun mean a thing w/o proper pve rolls. +15 ambush with pvp rolls will fare worse than +12 guile with pve rolls

    Cornflake is served as pvp gear. It just gives you stupid high ilvl. Shoes and gloves are good for PvE and their rolls are universal but weapon and cloth are not. Why are you so condifent about your ilvl to do LKHM meanwhile full imperator+15 has ilvl427 too?
    Purposely rolling Cornflake to PvE is just a waste investment you will perform bad in both PvE and PvP.

    Regarding to LKHM, it is better to use Relentless to facetank fixed damage. 160k HP is recommended.

    You are grossly underestimating the rolls under the base modifier. Some of the rolls actually don't affect PvE as mentioned though (the damage from behind roll on conflate iirc is only for pvp).
  • Like they said its your chest if you wanna keep boots, gloves, and belt fine but you do need pve weapon and pve chest get guile or imp.

    You're thinking of RMHM bud, LKHM doesn't hit near that hard. It's borderline faceroll.

    I hope you know how % damage reduction works.

    12% flat damage reduction (6% from the roll being PvP only and 6% on the base) means that you're taking 44% more damage against enraged monsters and 25% more against unenraged monsters. That's way more than any defense modifier gives.

    it's supposed to be a one shot, it is a hard mode dungeon, after all (even though lkhm really is "borderline faceroll" like ultemecia said tbh)

    based on your past posts it seems you've tried making the switch from pvp so just think of these attacks like a gunner's balders or something

    Holy cow iLevel means nothing and just screws over people since they can't get the VGs, using pvp gear in a pve dungeon has almost always been a bad idea (except +15 Renegade in SCHM, but even then disco wep probably did more dmg) and for hard modes you need to dodge instead of facetanking hits.
