    No. If they simply make the base attack/defense relevant (+9/10 Starfall/Conflate, something that'll work that also keeps PvP gear worth getting) and add another 4.5% attack speed modifier, it should be fine. I haven't played with current EQ gear, but I did prior to this once and it wasn't fun. No damage and lack of speed made me pretty irrelevant to the match.

    They should also consider giving you an option of whether or not you want your gear to be EQ'd if it doesn't reach requirements, but that'll probably never happen. Mainly because of what Ayi said, good gear is getting denied. Only way around it is to gear up to the ilvl and switch gear after you are in the match.

    Why would you want equalized gear? So it turn into a point farming ground for PVErs who never wanted to be there in the first place and AFK at base because your team is 20 points behind?

    Really should let it be BYO gear so people can measure their gear against other people's and not the other way around, fully eq is truly stale

    Equalized gear kills this game's PvP.
    Just look at the old Corsair, stacking AS on my warrior's pvp gear just to get to Corsair and be slow like a lvl 30.
    It should be like every other game, when there is nothing about this [filtered] equalized gear for lazy people... if you want to BG, go and get your gear, end of story. Otherwise, people gets his +15 pvp gear for nothing.

    How does grinding all day every day, in your parent's basement, make you not lazy?

    Us "lazy" people don't have as much time to play because we have work/lives. But we still want a place where we can PvP and be competitive.

    Or are you one of those people that prefers to win because of gear, and not skill?

    Please, if you want to win vs PvErs because of gear advantage (PvP gear vs PvE or whatnot), then you're not kidding anyone thinking you're a PvP player. A *real* PvP player beats a PvE player because he knows how to PvP, and the PvE player does not. You're supposed to beat him even with a disadvantage, derp.

    What you're describing is not a PvP player, but a loser. Honestly I'd feel extremely ashamed losing to PvE players if they are on same terms, it means I'm worse at PvP than a carebear. Who would dare to call himself a PvP player then? Only word that can stick here is loser.

    FWC pop? are we playing the same game here? FWC never pops for me. And now that lowbies can't queue cs and kumas are gone all the BG queues are slow. I'm hoping this is only temporary due to new pve content and a new class. but anyway for us PvP only players this game is so frustrating right now. I don't see how I'm supposed to hit the pvp credits cap under these circumstances.

    As living proof that there is no point turning it into EQ.

    And also you don't need PvP gear to beat PvErs, because more than half the time you can give a pure PvE player complete PvP gear and they will still be bad at it.
