Reaper or Ninja?

Returning player, sort of. Both at lv65. Enjoy both equally, but more experience with Reaper (duh? lol).

Pros and cons? Basically, are Reapers still relevant?

    Ninja is really tough, seriously...

BG all day yesterday and got totally hammered compared to my gunnner/warrior.

I think cloth armor for a melee class is a terrible idea. Honestly would have sacrificed dps for a bit tougher armor. Ninja's blow up if they get cc'd once. Their dodges have to be on point.

Though leveling up as a ninja was extremely fun. Literally, never a dull moment. Leveling was a breeze because of it.

    I never played brawler.

I'm a reaper main and I tried ninja it was tough at first since I had no idea what I was doing but after a few games, i got the hang of it. I got my combo down and alternate my iframes correctly so you don't get blown up. I'm apparently the highest ranked ninja in skyring at the moment.
But from what I see ninja has lots damage but if caught in stun and you don't get cleansed your pretty much dead.
ALSO ALWAYS USE INDOMS CRYSTALS NO REASON NOT TO USE IT.
Also I feel like Ninja is definitely more fun than reaper right now,

the only way to outdps as ninja to all the dps classes its being ultra skilled, never get hit by nothing.. also ninja needs a massive crit build 250 crit rate++++++ prefer, so u gonna c how insane ninja is atm.

Idom are the PvP defence crystals
  • If you have both, I would just say play both. I can't think of many cons against either unless you're concerned with how squishy you are (however, I think ninjas have excellent mobility). If you have to pick only one, maybe just bring it down to play style. As someone else who has both at 65, I felt that ninja had a more enjoyable play style than reaper. But for some reason reaper never really "clicked" for me. If you have more experience with reaper and find it suits your play style more, stick with reaper.
  • Having both +15 Reaper and Ninja, I have to say, both classes are pretty fun to play. Ninja playstyle somewhat reminds me of a mix of reaper/slayer, with a little warrior thrown in. Having that said, while I do like Ninja, I do not see myself retiring my reaper, and will most likely continue being a Reaper main with a little Ninja thrown in on the side.
