Slauther vs Buffed Conflate for PvE?

Does anyone know if Buffed conflate is better than Slaughter for PvE, particularly armor. I currently have +12 Conflate and because PvP is dead im going to be doing PvE now mostly but im not sure if ill need to replace my conflate gear with slaughter to not be too squishy or is conflate already better than slauther in both PvP and PvE due to its high base defense. I already have guile weapon btw.

    From the looks of it.
    Conflate Chest is only missing the "Decreases damage taken by 6%" Line
    While the weapon gives the same lines

    I would just use Conflate to be honest.
    (rerolled for PvE of course)
    Chest lines - Decreases Enraged, Dmg, Frontal
    Weapon lines - Double Enrage, Dmg, Behind
    Gloves - Power,Crit,AS
    Boots - Movement, Slowing, MP

    Since it was buffed, The Defense | Balance give more.
    Let alone it has a higher i-lvl :+1: *Conflate Armor 421 Guile 413
    So all and all. I'd say it's better off.

    The Weapons however, look about the same. both 415 I-lvl
    But i noticed that the guile weapon actually gives pvp attack by 30, while conflate gives pvp dmg by 20??

    I would personally use the conflate myself for pve. But i would have to craft it.
    Since I don't have the materials needed I'll just stick with Guile since it's easier to obtain.
    And would probably be cheaper as well :awesome:

    And i do realize you were asking about Slaughter.
    But since Guile is a side-grade to Slaughter. (more for the i-lvl really) I just mentioned Guile.
  • If conflate tank = 1~2 hit dead by boss.

    slaughter tank = 3~4 hit dead by boss.

    guile tank - 4~5 hit dead by boss.

    Healer really dislike pvp geared tank in pve dungeon.

    And we lose 2x 6% dmg reduction lines too..

    The problem is: Idk how defence modifier translate to actual dmg reduction..

    12% damage reduction is 44% effective damage reduction against enraged monsters assuming full Fine Hardy Niveots and standard damage reduction lines.
