Can that dungeon be done with mid tier gear like Guile? I did not play with Gunner for 1 year and I tried to do with her RMNM by que from IM. First boss people was dying all the time and for me I did find it really hard to die cos boss mechanics are really easy. We did wipe on second boss cos people still dying, ninja with VM +15 went offline and I was last man standing, but even alone boss could not kill me, I just let him do it to reset him. Could it be done with Guile set second boss or you need +15 gear or dmg is not enough? I will not waste time crafting. I do not like this game well cos is not user friendly and I have life so I do not wanna waste my life on this game where drops are the worst I ever saw in games.

    You didn't seem to have problems, so obviously you don't need better gear. Unless you're asking for another class?

    Well if you do not have dmg to kill the boss before spider eat all the eggs you will wipe so you need good dps, question is could it be done with Guile set? You could do SCHM with mid tier gear in VM4 patch.

    Yes you can do 2nd boss as guile, i did a run in RMHM with warrior tank and reaper in guillie while i am imperator+15 (i got most of the spiders btw) with double healer.
    So i can see a party with 4 skilled dps and tank can clear the 2nd boss in NM without problem. The problem is that skilled people usually dont have just guile, they go for +15 weapon.
    Your problem is that you are using IM and will be difficult find skilled people using IM.

    When i say skilled, isnt 5 clears, i mean people that know how to play their class.

    1. RMNM is training dungeon for hardmode. Of course, +12 Guile is enough. As long as you got right crystal and about 250~280 crit, this dungeon should be easy.
    2. The entire dungeon is heavily depend on tank and healer. Especially, 1 and 2nd boss are easier than LKNM. The boss have more HP.
    3. Now the last boss, you need to turn on boss attack area indicator. Watch some guide. I think Yosha has been the best with it. Later, turn off the attack indicator for training hardmode.

    Probably some of your party members dc'd/lagged hard due to the problem we are having right now
    But yeah, you'll be fine with guile

    That's because you have never tanked or solo heal in new hardmode dungeon yet. Just keep running dungeon as dps with 2 healers in.

    you'd be right in saying i've never tanked them, but i have around 15-20+ clears in every new dungeon on sorc, priest and mystic, which included single and double heal runs on all three. by not running hard mode, you don't get any experience with any of the hm exclusive mechanics, such as taking spheres or dodging two sets of lasers.

    however this thread isn't about me, about hm, or even about training for it
