    Same here, although I thought the extended part was "after" regular patch, not before. I got screwed by that, but totally is my fault, even more that I've read the whole thread about today's maintenance XD

    as far as getting a female to play tera, one of my friends showed me the original island of dawn, and their elin was dressed up. she had here elin riding on the ex-trim at the time. she was around level 50, so she could one shot everything. she was playing tera on her laptop ( not a gaming rig ) and she had a game controller hooked up to it. she let me try it just on island of dawn. I ran around killing things, jumping, riding the mount, trying on the wardrobes she had for her elin. I thought it was the prettiest game I had ever seen. I downloaded it, and haven't regretted it since. now if she would have taken me to a pvp server where high levels were killing lowbies, then I wouldn't have even bothered with it.
    point being is that you make it look fun when you are playing it around your girlfriend. take her to an easy place where she can kill things easily. let her look at the dressing room. show her the character creation. let her design one for herself on your game. get a game controller for her to use so that it will be easy for her to play. we like to have fun and play games too.
