The best possible solution as I see it is for BHS to simply remove ALL ilvl requirements from dailies. They could leave it so it only shows dailies appropriate to your ilvl but make it so you still get the daily from ANYTHING you kill- like how killing BAMs on IoD that are below your currently listed ilvl daily, why not make it work for dailies that are above too?.

You mean like ... common sense logical thing to do ?

    UNACCEPTABLE

And lastly: healers still abide by the Hydread Settings because every other rings that came after that is suboptimal for their role as healers. Are you suggesting that they should be punished for actually gearing their toons with "Best in Slot" gear?

Hydrad Settings are not BiS gear. They offer exactly 1 stat(heal increase), it's minimal and not needed in any way.

Which is why I listed it in quotes? You know, entirely subjective? and since they are healers after all, isn't that kinda what they want? Otherwise why would all these healers spend their efforts grinding out the rep to get these rings? Me? I can care less.

Well, if you wanna go with subjective then... "Why do you need to run SS, hardest current dungeon is CW". And, yeah, that's, like, my subjective opinion based on nothing but stupid. As to why healers are grinding those, I have no clue. Nobody needs 100k HF/TF and if the party is so bad, you feel like you need it, you have much bigger problems than whether you heal 100k, 80k or 50k. You make a choice to cripple your performance in every single aspect in order to get bigger numbers(that ultimately do nothing to help) and somehow expect the devs to cater to special snowflake needs. Which I wouldn't care much about if you people would just stop spreading this "Hydrads are BiS" stupidity around.

OK. I dont care about Hydrads myself, BUT what about healers getting [filtered] over again this patch? TBH they were [filtered] last one too but less. IDK man but having no healing gloves, [filtered] staff, and no healing jewelry as a priest brings me down. Sure i can go crit healing and what else now but i dont like crit healing. So i have to suffer for this?

I'd guess they realised healing increase to ridiculous amounts over the last few patches(I wasn't kidding about the over 100k crit TF) and wanted to indirectly nerf it(since the "We are cutting all heal skills by x%" didn't go over too well last time). The part that really boggles my mind is why they didn't release an alternative. Frostwise 2.0 would've been lovely to have this patch. Or maybe they are pushing for healers(mystics in particular) to be more of a support-dps than an actual healer. But with last patch gear(and maybe a new brooch), you should be able to pull off the required ilvl and I don't see how that screws you over. I'd understand if you had Frostwise rings but there are so few people who still have them, it's barely an argument.
