    Tera doesn't have this sort of mechanic, and yes it is one of the reasons why I still stayed.

    It's not even in the general vicinity of fishing. The differences:
    Gathering is limited by pp <-> Fishing is endless
    You cannot afk gather with just 1 account <-> You can fish afk with 1 account
    Gathering is not more profitable than dungeons(unless you have multiple computers, running multiple accounts) <-> The fishing OP i stalking about is vastly superior to dungeons
