Boomerang Pulse problem

When I first log into the game after the new patch. I went and try all my mystic skills, and found my Boomerang Pulse hitting my feet instead of projecting forward like it use to. It appears that now it's up to the aiming angle to decide where the bolt's gonna go. I assume most of us play at a 45 degree angle to get the best view. Does anyone plays at flat angle like in FPS game? The trouble is that every time I need to heal my party with BP, I have to aim my camera at 0 degree angle in order to make sure it fires straight, not down to the ground. And when I do that I CAN"T SEE everyone that I needed to heal because of blocked views. So BP is now one of the most frustrating to use skill not only it require us to time the lining up of the other party members and hoping it hits before they move, now we have to constantly changing the view angle so it does not accidentally hit the ground.
Look, I'm very grateful for this patch and all the updates on mystic skills, it's now way too OP IMO compare to when Tera was first released when mystic can only LOH 3 players and we can't even direct cleanse ourselfs. But please just change BP back to the simple, firing-straight-able BP, I rather not have the projectile speed buff but to have a skill that I can aim without constantly move my camera up and down.

So your problem is that you actually have to aim now?

LOL it should have always been this way.

Could be good if this was a first person game, but it's not. Something called 'your character' blocks the way. Worse if your mystic is an amani or a baraka.

Boomerang pulse has always been that way as far as I know. I race change my mystic a lot and I recall having to aim it higher when I played a short elin as opposed to when I play a +3 human male. Even before the patch. By now it has basically become second nature for me to tilt my camera down slightly before I use it and lift it back up after i send it out. You absolutely don't need the camera at a "flat angle" for it not to go into the ground.

Something called healers have always been a spoiled lock on class in tera it's nice that they actually have to aim something in a game that's supposed to be 'action combat'.

Well this "Spoiled Lock On Class" mystic was one of THE most difficult and unforgiving class to play for the longest. I like mystic for its summons (which are bad) and overall playstyle of CCs but when I'm on my priest alt, I'm basically a PvP god. Get your facts straight, mystics are only now getting any attention.

About the aiming, I believe it has been like this to a certain extent, but with the recent patch has become more sensitive. I play with a FOV (field of vision) at 150% above max which allows me to see everything and everyone around me. Having this change to BM will definitely change my playstyle a bit but won't be too significant.

Boomerang totally feels weird now. I also don't like how fast it is, because it makes the return pulse harder to land. I never felt it was too slow, originally!

The speed of projectile was increased by 50% of the original amount. That's, of course, not counting your own aspd modifiers.
The change might have been because people tend to move OUT of it's path for some bizarre reason...

Might I recommend increasing your FOV? I play an amani mystic at 100+ FOV and I don't have any issues aiming BP. I strongly prefer this version over the pre-patch one. The amount of control you get through aiming is well worth it.

In PvP, it means I can heal allies being knocked around by Brawler and Ninja skills. In PvE, it means I can single out problems and take care of them while still being able to Titanic others. It just increases my ability to multitask in those cases. Not having enough time to control the rebound isn't really an issue when the entire skill is that much faster (and the faster Titanic picks up the slack). It also makes it easier for BP to heal dodgey classes since there's less time for them to potentially dodge a heal during the fight.

I see the issue has it's share of supporters and detractors. Thing is, the new bp seems to be here to stay, like it or not. Simply because not all of the community dislikes it. Unless class balances 8 or 9 changed them. So my only advice to those who are having problems would be to learn to deal with it for now. I don't play my mystic much so I haven't truly tested the whole extent of it. I do know more about the aiming issues and how a character can block your view from using attacks from other classes like archer, which have had to aim their charged attacks since the very start of the game. Though I've always dealt with it, yet not everyone can, and I understand that.
