Sooo I came back to my names being changed

Been gone awhile. The names I claimed as my own for my characters have had _1 or even _1_1 put on them. Is this En Masses way of forcing me to buy my names back with those name vouchers? I bought this game years ago and I've had my names for a long time. How did they manage to take my names without my consent?

    No, there was a name wipe for those people with inactive accounts. Whoever hadn't logged on for more than a year before the name wipe would get their name replaced by "Name_1" and lose their name. Once you log back on it will make you put a new name (I believe).

    Depending on what kind of names they were, it was probably the fact that you weren't actually using the names you had on those characters, and someone more active requested to use the names you were squatting on. That's how most sites should operate, if I'm being honest. You don't use it, you lose it.

    EDIT: I was ninja'd. Looks I was half-right, though.
