RMHM Last Boss 30% is RNG?

Title.

Smashing the hell out of my cleanse button, but there's a 50% chance it won't get snuffed by the stagger and 50% chance it will.

Saw youtube videos, read a lot of guides and I keep seeing "Spam your cleanse"
Goes something like, you get staggered, cleanse, then another stagger.

But there are times when this happens: Stagger, Insta stagger, lazor.

RMHM is absolutely too easy with two healers.
I prefer solo healing it, but the inconsistencies with the staggers makes it really impossible.

Oh that's very interesting! Will the staggers spread apart if you get hit from behind the boss?
It's really weird how sometimes it does Stagger. Pause. Stagger. then on other times it does Stagger Stagger

If you're behind the boss (or somewhere in the back half), she has to turn a bit before she can put the stagger-cage on someone.

Thank you so much for the info! Kind of surprised this isn't mentioned anywhere from what I tried to find.
Spent a good chunk of yesterday trying to figure out what was causing the inconsistent staggers.

Thought it was a ping, attackspeed, distance from her kind of thing
  • Didn't know about the behind thing gota try it next time. If it doesn't work for you another alternative would be is too throw resto burst behind you and then kais as soon as she pushes you. I glyphed kias regen for this and when you do get pushed into your resto burst and if you do get double staggered you can survive without cleansing if you are at full health at push. You could also divine respite if those are on cd and or pot too. This also applys to your dps and tank as well they have to be on full health and get knocked into your resto burst to survive without being cleansed until after laser is done. This is just another way to do it hope the info helps, most groups i go with prefer two healers so they don't trust priest cleanse and i can see why.
  • Yeah usually if you have a solo healer, it's best if everyone groups up in the back of the boss when that is about to occur. It's normal to get stagger afterwards and usually lasts over after 1 or 2 seconds. I think skills that prevent stagger don't work at all at this boss either sadly. I think the only thing that may be rng is how boss targets 1 person randomly after the knockback.

Here you can see how we all group up around 3 min 40 mark and happens a few more times later
