when I am creating my first character in TERA this happens (offline server. Check your Internet connection if the error persists.) I have done wrong? How do I solve it? please help. my internet connection is optimal! and I tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling the antivirus and firewall turned off but the problem remains. What I can do?

    There's a timeout for taking too long in the character creation screen

    There's actually a trick to avoid being disconnected in char creation: type a name right at the beginning and from time to time change it, this forces the client to stay connected to the servers, because it has to check wheter the names you inserted are taken or not.

    Hm, I didn't have this problem when I was making my character, and I felt like I spent a good 10-15 minutes making her, even with the limited character options. I wonder how long the actual lockout takes.

    I've spent like an hour in character creation before with no issues.

    He could just be getting hit by the horrible lag/dc issues everyone has been having lately.
