    I don't get why its so hard to impossible to ever have someone in the weekend of an event to make sure their servers are properly functioning.

    Not even that. Normal EME staff works 5 days a week and they hire someone to work weekends to make sure things go as planned.

    you hire a student in computer program to part time work or you pay spacecat for overtime :)

    I got dc'ed couple of times yesterday. In one instance it was just before boss fight began and I was able to get back in just when boss was about to die and dc'ed again. Finally gave up.
    It would be nice to extend event if servers can handle the load.

    I'd like this too. Was in a lkhm 2nd boss yesterday and 3 people disconnected while me and a mystic we were duo the boss for quite some time before we wiped. Had to wait 30 min before they all came back and other people were having issues too. Felt like a lot of people were missing for a long time.

    Edit: Surprisingly for me, I did not have any ping or lag issues this weekend during this event. But even before last week's extra maintenance, it was not very good server wise at times. Seems like some people may get stability while other people experience issues that can be frustrating. Some of the disconnects may depend on the region because some people and myself did not experience any of it while other people did.

    These issues were happening before patch. Why they would run an event that was planned as a "thank you" during this crap blows my mind.

    I can't even count the number of dungeons where people were crashing and couldn't log back in only to waste my runs and my time.

    Agreed, I had a guildie who couldn't log in for a whole day. And today had half my team in Kuma DC.

    Servers have never been stable, but this is a problem.
