Hello,im thinking of downloading tera again and this time really trying to play the game.What classes would be good right now ? as for pvp and pve,are there any unbalanced classes ? Whats the current state of the game?Or what class would be really worth playing right now ?

im not skilled with no class',i havent been playing for 2 years! and when i played it i only played like 30 minutes then i was like this mmorpg sucks ,now i want to give it a chance

well first chill the [filtered] down your tits,i agree with you,i was just asking something,and please dont even try to mention me like that like i am one of these guys who play 5 minutes and uninstall the game.I played like 2h in total, first i tried it for 30 minutes,then i tried it again the next morning and i just got bored,then i upgraded my pc and i completely forgot about that game,doesnt mean i dont like it at all,im a veteran mmorpg player and i just didnt like it the first time,now i want to play it ,i want to give it a chance.
Ill try the gunner for now,it looks kinda cool for me,ill try all the classes and ill see whats good.
that's the way i was when i first started playing a few years ago, i came back about 2 years after, and started to love it. it's the only mmorpg i play now, i can't play any others. i tried riders icarus and vindictus because they claimed to have action combat, but they don't. i've been playing since a few months before gunner came out, and have loved it since. a few downsides, but adjusted as so. i main reaper, but i would recommend sorcerer, gunner and maybe ninja. it's all about your own playstyle aswell, so can't really give you a definitive answer on what's good and what's op.
try one of the 4 i mentioned, or if you really want to faceroll stuff, play the brawler. she's a tank, but if you have friends to play with, you can run dungeons as a dps with her. i have mine doing alot more than ninja and reaper. this probably isn't really helpful, but still almost what you're looking for.
also, don't let these whiney children on here get to you either. they're all mad because they never get what they want in a game that they know nothing about nor helped create it(community input is good, but doesn't need to be listened to at all, people need to realize it's not their game to change the way they want it to). with that being said, play the gunner or ninja till level 40, then start playing the reaper(only playable when you have a level 40 or above), you won't regret any of it

Sorc has been buffed to NInja DPS and I suck at it.
NInja was ridiculously OP when it came out. I sucked at playing it then and I still suck at it now.

What class can I play? When EME's ISP isn't falling over itself (so, almost never), I'm actually an alright Warrior.
Current state of the game: We got a new patch released recently where they had a whole new revamp for sorcerer and new gear set with new dungeons. A new 30 man raid with archer revamp is coming out; speculated to be sometime near the end of this month. There have been a lot of changes especially to the UI system to make it more simple and higher fps; also no more stamina in the game.
Pvp wise I don't have a lot of insight since I don't pvp a lot but there have been some unfortunate changes to pvp that hurt the pvp player base such as Fraywind was changed to being equalized when it came with the patch. They do have weekly guild pvp called civil unrest, which occurs every Saturday but that's only once a week.
At the moment there also are also many issues in game such as reset scrolls not being able to reset dungeons. There was somewhat a temporary fix but a permanent fix will come most likely with the 30 man raid patch. Also many people experiencing ping issues/disconnects/launcher issues.
Even now after you're trying to return for a second chance, with this type of mindset, you'll probably not last more than a couple of days playing Tera.
Also, rather than asking what class is OP, it's probably best you try out all available classes and see which interest your playstyle best.
If you truly want to be helpful at end-game, I suggest you roll a tank class.
One should also mention that even if you pick an OP DPS class, that doesn't mean you'll be top DPS by rolling your face on the keyboard. Expect to be bottom-tier DPS/PvP skilled until you actually put effort in knowing you class, as well as other classes.
That damage variance is MASSIVE. A damage difference that big doesn't exist in WoW, BnS, BDO, Swtor, Wildstar, and ESO (the games I recently have had experience in) especially when in the same gear set.
So basically try out 3-4 classes if possible and play whichever one you enjoy the most or think you can master. It's super easy to level in this game so you should be able to get a good idea of what you would want to play.
See...what you will experience from 1 to 65 is totally different from what you'll experience at 65. Just a lil tiny detail.
