  • No, no. This is not EME's fault, the server host area is being attacked It has nothing to do with Tera or EME

It doesn't matter if it's their fault or not. The second the company see something is wrong with the servers they should at least had the common sense of changing the days of the event instead of making the whole community waste their time, a few friends didnt even played during the event because of that.

Don't be blind just because you like the game and have a few cool people working there, making that event durint these attacks is just wrong.

I am more surprised you guys did a Triple Drop event during this kind of BS. Instead of waiting for everything to calm down and then doing the event, a lot of players lost runs and some couldnt even log into the game.

The problems themselves aren't their fault, sure, but the timing of the event was [filtered] for a lot of people, and that is their fault.
  • There seems to alot of this going on lately Not just the DDos server attack. I mean Just in general; lag, server instability, unstable Ping and has now become a daily thing. This is a game people devote time and money and it's a "business". It need to be more devoted and professional. I fear people will Turn away from tera.

I Think the community needs a Loyal staff and a good tech support to prevent future happens.

We already have that. They're working on the issues. There's only so much they can do. A little patience and understanding goes a long way.

The constant DDoS attacks on the servers area got me wondering and also worried, cause this same thing happened with a game i used to play and i liked very much, the game i left for TERA. That game ended up shutting down completely due to constant DDoS attacks and hacking attempts. The company that was running that game decided it was for the best to shut it down than to keep spending money on trying to keep it from DDoS attacks and hackers. Oddly enough, the hacking attempts were made by a group of players and ex players of that game because they were angry with the service and the direction the game was taking.

This whole scenario seems just like that one, cause recently i have seen activity of ex players who just come here to the forums to throw more wood into the fire (I'm looking at you Ryou) and spread negative thoughts.

I really hope i am wrong.

honestly Tera players are so vile and entitled and outright whiny little brats that i don't doubt the validity of that being a possibility Zoknahal. as much as i don't want to imagine it to be true either.

just gotta hope that the majority who play Tera aren't smart enough to pull that kind of stuff off ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I agree with that, but I meant that this particular problem (the DDOS attack) is not EME's fault. I've been personally screwed over by bad timings on their events and my job so I understand and agree with you guys. I'm just saying that this time is not their fault.
