24hours [extended] to get an epic title...

edited May 2016 in Game Suggestions
Hi just sad cuz I tried my very best to get that lvl 65 the faster I could and I failed .... I know that's the game...
But i was 57 when i really had to log out and ... so the limit passed......
If I had no work, no family and no sleeptime, I woulda get that title...? Is that what you want ?
The game keep reminding me .... "Play responsibly !" ... Why so?

24 hours is not enough

I got 65 in 8 hours, they extended the deadline by 12 hours. 36 hours was plenty of time to get the title.

This is one of those things that you simply get if you are there. A lot of games do this to keep people coming back at least for a day. If it's not titles, it's gear or cosmetics (like the whole HK fiasco). If done right, people will stay tuned and jump in at the chance of obtaining something that lets them keep a token or memento for being there at that time.

Games like Warframe do this to a long extent, giving gear, cosmetics and wearable badges for events that will never, ever be repeated, and people seem to like it like this.
  • Well, you do have my sympathy.

I played literally from the moment I could get in Tuesday morning, until 5:30 a.m. (maybe stopping for a total of an hour to eat a few times and go to the bathroom. Went to bed at 5:30 am and got back up after 1.5 hours of sleep. I got the title with a couple of hours to spare (but I wouldn't have made the 10:00 am deadline). My partner made 60 but only because I helped get here there.

We did make some mistakes in leveling efficiently but did the best we could... It was an absolutely grueling experience... still recovering -- lol.

Also, 24 hours seems rather arbitrary to reach level 65... not based on actually how long it would to take to hit 65 etc...

There was someone in another thread who said they got 65 in a little over 3 hours. Not everyone can get it that quickly, but 24 hours (36 in this case) is certainly long enough. The number of people who did get the Jounin title should be evidence enough.

I might be a bit more sympathetic if not for your other thread: http://forums.enmasse.com/tera/discussion/1066/ninja-title-i-was-65-i-didnt-got-the-right-title-u-u/p1

You didn't make the cut this time. Better luck next time.

Not sure how long I took, but I did manage. I documented all of it here, :

just to tell a derpy story that maybe teaches others what NOT to do to level up. :p

Yea, if everyone can get this title then there will be no point to get it any more. Balance your life and balance the lost and gain is essential. I have enough time atm but i do not have a job or girlfriend so i want a job and a girlfriend much more than the title. I spent like 6 hours in lv up bec it was my 7th 65s so i know the trick. I spent months on my 1st char though
