    Ok, no spawns in Granarkus, so I figured to at least do a couple IoD quests. Start with the quick ones to see how it goes. The server lag is HORRENDOUS!
    I come up behind an Arachnen (oh, wait--you label them Ovoliths in IoD--my bad!). I launch a skill--at least I try to, but nothing--me, monster, nothing--so I try again and again and again--nothing. Then there is a cacaphony of attack sounds, but the monster takes virtually no damage, since he is now behind me--apparently in the pause, he aggroed, attacked me and did that lovely move where he runs over me, THEN my screen updated.
    Just got the message that there is just 30 minutes of naptime left in Granarkus, but I am not gonna head over there. Easier to shut off Tera, take a nap in my recliner instead, and come back later when you are no longer punishing us with your thanks. Hope I am wrong, and you all have a lovely final 30 minutes in this event--but I kinda doubt it, and the small chance is just not worth the aggravation.

    this event is not a "thank you" .
    that would be turbo time in dungeons,
    or temporarily allowing dragon scales to be trade able or at least bankable for a day instead oh holding them in a sort of "ransom" .
    a "thank you" for exceeding the extra life target would be a well thought out event (which you had time to plan).
    and finally a "thank you" would reflect some measure of care and effort.
    the bg jackpot is nice although the turbo event seems rather pointless tbh.

    I'm so glad they fixed it this time. It was a lot more fun going around and actively looking for (and finding) bosses.
    Got a bunch of bosses, even though I missed a lot of the event due to CU.

    Serpentis Island was great. But the lag was horrendous.
