PvP Healing Gear

Another patch, another VM set without PVP Defense on the armor. (Although the 30 PVP Damage line remains on the weapon?!)

Should I stick with SF+15 chest/boot/glove, or just roll/etch Ambush for PVP the best I can? ... Or do I need to make Conflate?

    According to the base stats, conflate gears seem to be better than VM7 or even VM8. However, in fact, VM gears has hidden defense options so that conflate gears are only comparable with VM7 +15 now.

    This test was taken place in very strict condition (endurace, etching, any other things affecting def/attack), so I would say it's trustable.

    The link is what I tested after the patch (conflate/vm7 buff). For Cloth class, yes! conflate chest and belt are better than VM7 +15. But note that they are just SLIGHTLY better than VM7s +15. This is all because of the hidden set defense bonus on VM gears.

    Indeed, conflate gloves and shoes are even worse than VM7 +15 even for now. They have higher base def modifier than VM7 +15, but still worse than VM7. This, again, confirms that VM gear set has hidden bonus stats on it.

    For Metal class, conflate chest is worse than VM7 +15 from my test.


    In short, conflate is NOT BiS for now, and only comparable with VM7s in pvp defense

    OWpvp is dead.
    CUV is dead.
    BGs are EQ (DEAD)

    Unless you got a team for 3s...

    PvP gear right now is useless to make unfortunately.
