RMHM laser rubberbanding

I play priest/mystic and I find that if she does a 2 laser first, I can just walk out of it, but if it's 3 laser first, I always rubberband back into it. Quite annoying during the stagger puddle. High ping players, how do you deal with rubberbanding on lasers in RMH?

    I got 200 ms and a play i sorc, i got the same problem, in fact sub 30% lasers (if not most of them..) are a sure death for me even if i do everything right here on my screen.
    Sometimes i got killed and rubberband on the small curse aoe circle and that's very annoying for the rest of the party...
    I lost a lot of dps too trying to predict mechanics as i can't react to [filtered].
    When BHS made iframe useless in this patch, they also just made things horrible/non-viable for high ping players.
    If devs are too lazy to think that about half of NA population are international players with more than 120 ms ping, they should as well just put an IP Block on this game so we don't lose our time.
    SSHM, on the other hand, was doable for high-ping players (especially on ranged class) cuz there was that thing called iframes back then....

    BHS just doesn't care what their game looks like in high ping.
    Animation lock and desync(rubberband) are big troubles for high ping players when most aoes can't be dealt by iframe. The difficulty of fighting lachelith rises significantly, nearly impossible.

    As a mystic and sorcerer you can just jaunt out right away if you get the circle, it shouldnt be a problem.

    As a priest... havent found a solution myself to it, the triple stagger doesnt let me cleanse or move out in time either.

    As you may know, desync/rubberbanding occur to players with high ping especially for those who gets over 200 ping. The reason is that it seems like your char in your screen moves/dodges the lazer by walk, but the character in server is still located in lazer route because of the delay caused by high ping. In a consequence, your character will get hit by lazer and get rubberbanded in your screen.

    This issue most likely occurs in not only TERA, but also any other games when you play with high ping.

    One tip that I can suggest is that if you get a purple circle (which means the boss targets you for lazer or swipe), move left or right by 1-2 step which is the border line of 2x and 3x lazer so that you can walk/dodge the lazer a bit faster. Simply, if you have 200 ping and get rubberband, that means you have to react/move faster by 0.2-0.3 sec.

    Another tip that I can suggest is, if your issue happens during push/bleeding/lazer combo, move back(away from the boss) right after the boss pushes you so that you will not be the closest one from the boss. Thsi is because the boss targets the closest one for the lazer after the push/bleeding. Also, if another member gets the purple circle and s/he is close to you, try to move to the border line (you will need to estimate the lazer pathway) so that you can move/dodge faster.

    These are what I use when I play KTERA with 250ping.
  • Even with less than 200 ping (my ping is around 80-120) I have this problem as well ;w;

  • Since I have 30 ping, if without lag I will now try to make the boss target my mystic to save my team.
