Sugestion for 30man patch and maybe futures

Since EME will launch the patch only on 30 due the thanksgiving, what about deploy the patch in 29 but remove the dungeon entrance.

This way everybody can download the patch without any problem and EME QA staff can check the dungeon is working, to avoid the same thing that happen with CUV

On 30 a small maintenance of 30min would happen to open the dungeon, and if necessary fix the bugs found 1 day before actual release.

So what you guys think about this idea? Would be viable for future patches? Give your opinions
I know they will not read until 28, but worth trying

    I don't know if the crash has anything to do with the raid, as far as I know, the raid is just a dungeon that has a weekly limit rather than daily, and doesn't function like CU.

    You really can't push a patch a day forward on this short notice when it's a holiday. Plus, removing the dungeon entrance is a modification that would have to be tested, and adds even more risk to the launch. At this point, the schedule is definitely set.

    For what it's worth, it's also not very likely they could do a soft launch with patches the next day anyway because of the turnaround time in getting fixes from Korea and building/testing the fixes locally. That's usually why the second patch day is Thursday and normal patch day is Tuesday. There has to be some margin.

    That was a very specific situation that isn't very likely to occur again. Testing hotfixes on live servers isn't really something you ever want to do unless there's no other way to test it.

    They already removed dungeons portal in live server before, so there is a way. I know that for this patch will be really difficult to do, since the staff will read this only on 28. With this specific patch KTERA had maintenance for every people clear (due a lot of bugs), I hope it doesn't happen, but there is still a chance. I just bring this so we are able to discuss for future patches
