Class Balance Council
So one of the biggest complain of players is the lack of a proper class balance and the lack of a direct channel between players and BHS, so i propose the following idea : Class Balance Council (CBC)
Objective of Class Balance Council
The main objective of Council is keep a harmonious balance between the classes and still keep their uniqueness.
Who are the members:
Due TERA being an international game and affect several publishers, the CBC must contemplate all regions, so the members should be from all publishers.
The members would be selected by the publisher, and the total members a publisher can have are based in a criteria to be defined between publishers and BHS (like playerbase, revenue …)
During the selection the member should tell their class preference and if prefer PvE or PvP in order to keep a equal composition of classes and playstyles in the CBC,
The publishers can replace any member of their select anytime they want.
How would work:
The CBC members will collect and filter ideas from their forum and bring the best to a special forum hosted BHS. The ideas will be discussed between the members of CBC and BHS class balance team. When it is refined enough, the changes will be tested in a test server in order to check the effectiveness of the changes.
After the changes approved, it is deployed in Korea server to see the results for final adjustments. After that all other publishers get the same balance.
