Need help with Elite Status

This morning I wanted to purchase the Elite Status. When I paid for a 1 month subscription it actually charged me for 3 months. I put in a ticket 12 hours ago and still no answer. On top of that I still don't even have Elite Status.

Comments

  • Same. I got an error after the payment and tried 3 times. It charged me 3 times. No elite.

Close Tera and Launcher, since its Thanksgiving today there won't be any support today.
  • Yup, I got this as well.

They sure took my money but take their sweet time on delivering elite or replying to the support ticket.

Did that. The payment failed but still charged me 3 times. No elite. I already made a support ticket. Also calling my bank tomorrow since support isn't going to be responding to me anytime soon.

I strongly advise you not do that. If you call your bank, your bank is going to take the money back without contacting EME, and on EME's side it will be viewed as credit card fraud linked to your account resulting in a perma ban on said account.

So unless you need money urgently and can't wait a week for EME to refund you, I don't think it'll be worth it...

Be sure to watch about "pending charges" vs. "posted charges" (or whatever terms your bank uses). Particularly if you get an error after payment; most likely you weren't actually charged (it didn't actually post), but it did an authorization on your card that resulted in the funds being temporarily depleted. If it didn't actually clear (for example if you got a 201 error because your address didn't match or something), then the authorization will clear automatically after a few days and your funds will be open to you again.

This is a point that often causes confusion with people who use their debit card as a credit card, because credit card authorizations are handled in a funny way on debit cards, and it's not always clear on bank websites the difference between a charge/sale and an authorization. You just see that your balance is lower, but it doesn't actually mean the charge actually went through.
