I'm just going to add on to this to clarify and avoid misunderstanding-- the thing about "Witch class" is just speculation based on what was discussed between BHS and someone from JTERA(?). They were discussing about designing new class and the JP guy proposed two ideas, which were Kunoichi (Ninja) and Witch, along with their description:
This doesn't mean it will or will not be witch class, but it "might" be if the idea wasn't completely scraped off.
Though it's just speculation i posted long ago when the whole player conference thing was held in June 12 and I translated all the info i could get.
as you can see from the GM/dev note, they have separate teams for different tasks. wolfpack seems to be generally in charge of contents, calvenstein seems to be in charge of balancing, and the other guy i think it was quackquack who was the designer of the Twisted Lakan's Prison, coming after 30 man raid. i forgot who designed manglemire but his dev note mentioned dungeon designing team. theres also another guy who discussed future revamp plans too. i wont be surprised if different Developer posts dev note about the new class.
Or another tank that doesn't have to reach 65 before tanking
Or go with a summoning class if they're going DPS again
From what I heard, you got it wrong. Most of the female characters are played by male players. So that would mean the developers mainly consider male players.
separate =/= numerous
You could put 2-3 people together and call that a team. And with the amount of workload piling, fixes/changes/adjustments are bound to take a long while (if you're hopeful enough to think they're even fixing anything anyway
They're a very small development studio.
