Skill that consume noc have a damage effect . Most of them have a 3%-8% damage increase (can be 3% , 4%, 5%, 6%, /% or 8% - its random)
so saying that is useless to pve is a blasphemy

    you should check

  • I Think I understand now. I Didin't know class skills had any Noct effects.

Many items where merge this patch so makes it confusing.

Noctenium Infusions lost their pVE effect after the patch. All they have now is PvP defense and attack by 8.

Why do people want them?? CU?

Tell that to warriors that depend on noctenium to perform their DPS rotations. Without noctenium it is laughable to try and build edge/scythe cycles.

This. You literally have to fit in an extra 1 edge skill into your rotation if you don't run with nocts, which adds at least 0.5 seconds until you can cast your next Scythe. Considering that Scythe is used every 6 seconds with Nocts, that's a whole lotta DPS loss.

And with Nocts, I would guess the average Warrior uses around 750+ per run in an average RM run.

Mine increased since the patch by 5k. And i use noc in every dungeon. This is a class spefic problem, not all classes have this problem.

Buut a new noc is coming, that will be time based instead of hits based

The new noct isn't even worth it tbh...Maybe for one or two class but the rest, it's more costly using that.

Nocts never had a "PvE Effect" it's always been PvP Attack and Def by 8 PLUS added bonuses to certain skills, look at your skills and find the green Noctenium Infusion effect, that applies to both PvE and PvP.

    LOL

so increasing a skill damage between 3-8% for every skill that consume noc isnt a PvE effect, i dont know what to say

here if a full list of effects:
