Gearing Progression
Guys I have been playing for about 2-3 months now and I am in full Guile gear +12. I was wondering if I should go for Imperator or just skip to ambush in the future. What do you guys think?

even if you manage to make and +15 Ambush near the end of the current patch, you will be ahead and ready for the next patch. everyone will be new to the new dungeons during that first couple weeks, and you will get into groups easily and make friends with your +15 weapon. ez game for the next 6 months
Myself, for example, I'm not used to RMHM yet, and I don't know much of the dungeons that drop Ambush materials, but I can do very well the ones who drops the Imp materials. So, I'll go for imperator. But if you're confident and think you can farm the materials, the BiS must be your choice!
Just do what cheaters do exploit.
A. Wait for an event exploit.
B. Get rich buy boxes
Most who were full Ambush did B and farmed LKHM/SSHM for designs. Currently stockpile dried up cuz no event, but honestly sunlight good just wait till next event which is gunna happen cuz Holiday season duh triple drop or another broken event coming soon. Don't need crystal ball to see and that's how u go from 0-100 real quick. As for importance of Ambush up to you. Kr got raid a month earlier than NA and there's been a push to keep US up to date with Kr. 1 month from now or 2, Kr getting VM 9 which will make raid irrelevant......we know what happens to previous VM in new patches. They become easy to get and buffed. So unless you rich and want to get accepted into premade 30 mans no don't bother with Ambush. Its tryhard gear thats gunna be outdated in 1-2 months and the raid will get nerfed or not scale properly with new gear in VM 9 patch no rush.
Thats my biggest problem with the game actually, the gears. It's either they're releasing it too quickly or I'm just too slow with my gearing progression. If I just buy the boxes, wouldnt it be disturbing if a guy who is a complete noob in dungeons wears ambush gear? At least thats what I felt when I bought my imp +15 without being skilled in any hardmode dungeons. Players with only +12 guile perform better than me which is quite embarassing lol

Not a lot, but on TR quite a few ppl have Ambush gear and not skilled in RMHM.
Regardless, ppl not logging on now anyway because well they cleared it.
As for what about raid [filtered] began to die after 2 weeks as every1 has their statics and even then to get 30ppl lol when will they learn from the flop that KN20 was. I give it 2 more weeks till the avg LFG for raid is like 1-2 during peak hrs.
