If i will ever have enough real money to spend in TERA to make some decent gold, i better stop play TERA, and play better P2P game.
If u are lazy [filtered], and spam only about your credit card, better stop write posts, because its obvious u can buy and sell EMP and make easy gold. I still dont understand why people spend real money in game like TERA, since making a gold in game, then change it for some cool weapons is much more fun, than buy a weapon +15.
1. Do SCHM- This dungeon isn't hard or require +15. +12 Guile Sorc and Archer are as good as +14~+15 another class except ninja. If you watch guide and join IM and practice a few times, you will get it. Then, run it with your guild or LFG for faster clear. It drops 2~6k gold mats, dyad, and van daily point. And, it doesn't take too long.
2. LKNM - Make a party with couple of your friend, and just IM it for faster match. Lilith box is about 1k gold. + Van daily reward.
3. Iron and Kuma - hate these. But, the battle point box is still good. You can join without waiting 30min as FWC.
4. IOD Bam.
5. lowbie dungeons for faster van daily.
They're lazy and blame the game being pay to win as to why they make no gold even though they sit in Highwatch most of the time and maybe 2 RMHMs and call it a day.
To answer the question on making gold, no one is going to really tell you how they make gold on forums, since a lot of gold making methods rely on less people doing what they do.
There are people like me who have only little time but enough money (because not student anymore but in employment). With a ratio of 1:40 and e.g. a job where you earn $10 per hour, you could convert your wage into 40k gold per hour. Look at the example above where someone stated making max of 25k for farming 3h. I guess the advantage is obvious. I even earn more than $10/h because I'm in full employment.
Keep in mind that every time you buy a cash shop item (cosmetics, Elite voucher, etc.), you're supporting the same system you hate. Because somebody did spent real $ to get it out of the cash shop. So there's no "the evil EMP sellers" or "the glorious and pure F2P players".

Making gold in Tera through ingame methods only is still a secret not given away in public. Of course you will read some obvious methods, and all of them include having Elite status. This is not gonna cost you an arm and leg and is self-financing after paying for it once. For now, just go with farming IoD BAMs.
Many people in NA can't afford to spend money on a game. You can also earn more gold per hour playing the game than even a low/mid wage job would provide cash to sell EMP, and this is ignoring the living expenses that take away their pay check anyways. The people who can afford to blow 1,000+ dollars on a game in a short period are a minority.
*frowns* Well, you're right. We have people from all over the world playing on NA servers.
I will give you a hint for those who arent getting more alts and wont spend EMP: It is something that you would previously do, but you wont do now because you think it isnt worth the time.
And no I will not say playing the broker because that one is in your face, too obvious an answer.
The amount of money I've spent on Tera (about $20, for bank space) was dwarfed by the amount of money I spent putting good enough a processor, video card and RAM into my computer ... which (barely) allows me to play games like Tera.
And don't get me started on high-end gaming rigs. I may have that kind of money, but it's cheaper to go on a Mediterranean cruise.
There have been times in my life where I had access to computers and not much cash ... like when I was a student ... when I was unemployed. In both cases, I had plenty of time to play video games ... which is one way to (slowly) earn gold. And if I had plenty of time, then I could afford to spend time to earn gold slowly.
How to earn gold in Tera:
1. Do quests
2. Kill things
3. Sell stuff to merchants
4. Don't spend gold on stuff you don't need.
It's worked great for me.
