Server Stability update?

its been almost 2 weeks and since hte initial post on the thread and denom's reserved post we have been given to status update on the issue, a major update is looming where server stability is critical and thus far there seems to be no improvement no status updates and no communication by the eme team on what is going on etc, can we finally get some comunication? @Denommenator @Spacecats @DonkeyProphet @CobaltDragon

    bump its been what 3 weeks, not a single bit of info on anything, lag spikes, lengthy periods of lag, dcs etc is still going on and yet no staff at eme can post an update, it even seems like this isnt an issue for them anymore, like a big f u at the players, is this and more whats in store for us in 2017 and going beyond? @Spacecats @Denommenator @CobaltDragon @DonkeyProphet is this the great work ethic of eme and customer relation?

    great constructive post, so its the players fault the publishers cant fix an issue with them? you cant tell me 3 weeks and denom still has a reserve post and cant even give an update on what is going on with the issue.

    EME is aware of the issues, however, its not server side, have you not seen the post they have made on the bug fix forum? The issues are an external threat, from DDOS to Comcast's routing service. They are aware, and are active on working for a solution.

    For one thing, please be more polite towards your fellow TERA players. Being rude to someone upset about lag accomplishes nothing.

    Secondly, playing TERA on Steam and playing TERA through the launcher has no effect on connectivity. The servers are the same.

    Thirdly... Bluehole is in Korea, our TERA servers aren't. You can still move there if you like, though :p

    I'm sure that 30 people lagging simultaneously for 3+ seconds isn't a Comcast issue.

    yes but 3 weeks + and not a single update, it literally feels like its been brushed under the carpet at this point, that should have been a priority ahead of the harrowhold update.

  • After we got the Harrowhold update, i cannot play tera.
    Can't even do RMHM anymore cause im rubber banding and i have over 1k ping.
    Its seems like SSHM all over again with the consistent lag. QAQ
    I really just wanna know if we'll get any help with the servers?
    Be causei haven't had this issue for RMHM until HH came. ;w;

    but it affects the performance of the dungeon directly, players doing hh and getting horrendous lag spikes, dcs and connectivity issues in some thing as important as hh, that was the relevance of it.

    maybe THATS'S the problem, they really should be working together with the update and localization team because the two are clearly linked.
    what's the point of updates and new content if you are unable to run it ?!

    we really dont need to know what goes on behind the scenes, but like most people unhappy with something we start to speculate and point fingers.
    i just would like my low ping and smooth gameplay back.
