I started playing just after the server merger of Fey Forest and like it on that server so far. However after rolling a couple of characters on Tempest Reach, I noticed that players would shoot at minions I was obviously approaching and about to attack. Are they bots? Are they 5 year olds? It seems like 75% of the players act like you don't exist. Is this how the server is in endgame? I have not reached level 30 on Tempest Reach because I was so turned off by the lack of chivalry. Are all the PvE servers like this? Which servers have the polite players? I will probably dabble in some PvP, but as an altoholic, I will have characters on multiple servers.

    I dont really get your problem as the starting area is solo instances most of the time, that 5 minute when you can interact with other lower level players is not long. If it bothers you so much I recommend that you change channels to a less crowded one.

    Later levels it shouldnt be a problem (above lvl 20) because nobody really levels in the open world. But with Kumas Royale and dungeons instance matching.

    To be fair, though, as long as you're not actually attacking them, the enemies are fair game. Other players can't read minds, so how are they supposed to know you were going to attack those guys? For all they knew you could be passing through after getting your quota.

    And if it's that much of a problem, just change channel.

    You could look at it from another perspective.

    Those players had obviously moved into range of the minions and were aiming at them, then you starting running at the minions in an attempt to attack them first. They managed to get their shot off before you jumped in for the kill steal.

    More likely explanation:
    They aren't paying that much attention to you, and they're showing you about the same amount of courtesy as you're showing them. Instead of getting upset, switch over to a less populated channel. (The control is next to where your buff icons are displayed.)
