Do you happen to use steam? I have downloaded tera from my website, and I'm getting this same error. I googled what it could be and the only others who have this issue are Steam users. I think the game may have patched from steam, and it's causing major lag and launcher issues for those who originally downloaded from the website.
i' having the same kinda issue, when i hit play on the launcher it takes over 5minutes for the game to finally start and do anything
I'm a returning player who quit about 1 year ago due to work committments. Now I'm attempting to play again, but when I try to update the client says not enough disk space

Before I quit the game a year ago there were no problems at all. Until today when I tried to patch and attempt to play again, this error suddenly came up.
Only 30GB left T.T Looks like I'll have to uninstall and reinstall the whole bloody thing again. Argh
Yes currently using Steam. When I uninstalled it the first time though I downloaded it directly from TERA website without Steam and I was still having the problem so I just uninstalled and downloaded it again on Steam since that didn't fix it. I have also tried launching the game directly from the folder and such but nothing works.
Could you please explain exactly what you did to fix your issue. Did you uninstall some updates and if so which ones etc. Would be much appreciated.
Well, even if you try to do that it will probably still need that space to install (because the installer takes up ~35 GB, and then the install itself is about another ~35 GB)... so probably the best thing would be to see if you could free up a bit of space.

This is the most recent launcher log from when I tried fighting with it again just a bit ago.
I use Avast. It hasn't previously given me any issues and, at the time that log was created, it was disabled.
EDIT: I need to point out that this is happening only at a specific point. Everything was patching fine. Then, I was hit with this error. There was a connection running and then it suddenly just stopped, the bar saying "Progress: Estimating time" and then the error crops up after about a minute of waiting.
