So after the latest patch, when i enter the info to login and hit play, after hitting play once or several times, it takes 2-4 mins before it loads the icon, then another 1-3 mins before it goes to black screen THEN loads the game, why the hell is that? I repaired the files and repatched it but it never did this before, i really prefer not re-installing again since it takes so long, i even cleaned out my pc and did a few scans so i'm not sure what the problem is at this point, any ideas?

    The launcher is an utter mess. Same problem here. Updating was a pain having to constantly restart. Then when it was updated enough to stream play the pop in was miserable even though I was well past the requirement to play. Meaning the sorting of "neccessary" files to play the game sucked and whoever or whatever they used to prioritize what gets downloaded to let you into the game needs their head examined. Not impressed so far.

    Happening to me too.. at first I thought it just was my computer. I repaired the client, restarted, etc.. Takes around 10minutes to entirely open to character selection screen. Kind of getting aggravated at this point. :/

    It kept happening to me till i made an exception for Tera's install folder in Windows Defender (Im using Win 10) i hope this helps anyone suffering this isue

    All the time it was good, and all of a sudden it still takes around 2 mins - 5 mins just to go to character selection, then when the character is loaded in is when the game runs kinda good. Something needs to be done for this

    Update : added to exception on antiviruses and it still does this.

    I ran the Tera Diagnostics test thing? It said my connection to Tera was slow.. but then I did a speed text and I'm 60/60mb.. also on the diagnostic it says that it only took like 4 seconds to connect from ports?

    Anyone else having this issue, can you look at your task manager's processes when you click play? I've noticed that Tera.exe is low memory usage for a while and then jumps up after a long time......

    It always says the connection to Tera was slow and would always tell you that if you're not getting like 20 ping so ignore that, also it maybe low on memory usage when you do other tasks as the computer may dedicate resources to other tasks while keeping tera on low performance till you resume playing.

    Eh, never noticed this before. I only ever have Chrome open, and once Tera finally jumps to the memory usage it should have, the Tera.exe icon appears, and more waiting begins lol
