New Class Ideas? 2016/17

New Class Ideas !!

So because all of the special classes are gender locked to females, I was thinking about a few more classes that could be gender locked to males only (of course this isn't necessary but it would be nice for a little change)

Here are some class ideas I came up with, note; I am unsure of the skills that should be applied so I will not make any skills, but because reapers and ninja are so op, maybe the skills on these characters should also be op, or at least have very good speed so that they can compete with ninjas and reapers and such

  • Technician

    Human, Castanic, Aman, and High Elves only.
    Deploys damaging turrets, throws AoE buffing and health regeneration elixirs, as well as debuffing DoT poisons and slows for enemies; dual wields guns imbued with arcane energy.

    Why those races? Lore wise, elin, baraka, and popori are primitive in terms of technology and society as a whole. Castanics and Amani are well known for their craftsmanship in the world of Arboera. Humans and High Elves are known for their understanding of arcane energy and what potential it possesses.

    Why a technological based class? We've received two primitive based classes as of late (Ninja and the new class, both being standard melee classes relying on down to earth weapons). The gunner proved we can have an innovative class without too much immersion breaking, considering it does work in terms of lore and setting. The Technician would fit in quite nicely with the world setting.

    Bluehole has been making what we can safely call "overloaded classes" which give a lot more than basegame classes did, similar to the situation with Riot and their game League of Legends. An overloaded class can be balanced, but much testing is required. It's quite likely my suggestion here features a highly overloaded kit, but I suppose with proper balancing and play testing, it could be quite the pleasant experience.
  • For Amani (male and female), an Amani "Slasher", with a huge Arc-Chainsaw and throwing machetes, pure burtal bleeding damage or a "Gladiator", with a Claw and shield combo, kinda tankish with some jumps and selfheals

    Maybe we can get a Popori "Cook", making insta meals with the remains of fallen monsters for buffs and heals, and attacking enemies with boiling sauces and a huge cauldron.

    A Popori + Elin (and maybe Baraka) "Bard" class, with a harp or a laud, kinda healish/debuffer/summoner

    I still hope for male Castanics/ Elves "Desperados", with longcoats, dual ArcPistols and lots of acrobatics moves.

    A Baraka "Monk" class with staves moves and preassure points could be cool.
    Or Maybe even a Baraka (with male and female Amani) "Wrestler", with locks, and suplexing BAMs (the new faces should look like Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan)

    A Tamer class for the human males, with a whip and Dog/Wolf/ Bird combo, maybe? no?

    Love this one but i'd call it it "El Mariachi" with a big "Sombrero" and a guitar. <3

    i could imagine some users being against gunbs/pistols cause it takes away from the medieval fantasy setting, but then again we have Arc-Canons
    The "Desperados" (guys with dual pistols and longcoats) seem like a good counter trope for the girl with giant gun/cannon.

    i would prefer a Baraka + Popori Grenadier with a big coat and pouches, uses a pistol in one hand and throws different types of grenades (sticky grenades, fire ones, ice ones, ones that slow the opponet movements, walking Grenades, like that kamikaze doll in dofus) with leather armor.
    Or maybe a Bandit for humans males and females, using a sword in one hand and a pistol in the other.its a weid combo, but i think it would look cool.

    Maybe some Mace/hammer and shield type class for Amanis, i recall some enemies using that.

    Also, wasn't thereanother thread like this? maybe mods could combine em?

    hmm ok well:
    passive skill- alcoholic: resurrect at the spot by drinking lakan's potent elixir. (5min debuff "hangover" passive cd) *doesn't work on pvp*
    kaia's elixir: increase power by 15% for 10s (30s cd~ applies dizziness for 5s after the effect ends)
    velik's grace: increase fps of u and nearby party members by 10% for 8s
    we are one: decrease ping of u and nearby party members by 8% for 10s
    *both with 1m 30s cd~*

    now thinking he should use a dagger and tech glove (mass effect style but with human x high elf colab design :awesome:

  • We all know that the decision on gender locking depends on sales.

    Nevertheless, I'd like a Tank-class again. In my opinion, the Brawler itself is a brilliant class. Blcking while attacking, easy to play, big self-heal and an emergency resurrection. Never did we have so many tanks since release of the Brawler. Now with nerfing Brawler und revamping old classes, the number of tanking Brawlers are declining.

    The problem I see with tanking is the extra work, a tank has to do. It's the knowledge in blockable and not blockable attacks. When to iframe, where to position and where to run, dependent on the mechanics. The DPS just drives mindless the standard rotaion. The tank has to adapt the skills on the boss.

    I'd like to see some kind of Necromancer with tanking minions. The gameplay should be close to mindless rotation. The Necromancer himself could move in a group with the DPS and the healer. This way, the stress of blackable/unblockable attacks would be gone. Of course there mst be a mechanic where the Necromancer takes damage upon messing up his skills, just like the normal tank gameplay.
  • Just some ideas.

    Class: Magus
    Type: Magic (Ranged DPS / Special)
    Armor: Cloth
    Race: High Elf Male / Human Male
    Special: Stack Mechanic

    The lucky few who were able to escape the Argons but found a new power/way of life due to it, a Magus is able to cast long range spells and build up "Deception" stacks, once full the Magus is able to shape shift into a beast that can cast powerful AoE spells causing disarray and panic (CC) amongst it's enemies. A Magus is very weak in melee range until he can shape shift, spells can be glyphed to create extra Deception stacks (like brawler Growing Fury but not as long).

    Possible Attacks
    Magic Spear (Auto Attack) - Shoot illusion spears towards an enemy inflicting damage and earn a possible Deception stack.

    Illusion Drift - Evade attacks while leaving an illusion copy of yourself that explodes after 2 seconds that may earn a Deception stack if it hits an enemy.

    Somber - The Magus creates a purple fireball and hurls it at an enemy inflicting damage, slowing the target, and earning a Deception stack.

    Caliginous - While the Magus is shapeshifted, he can throw an AoE void puddle on a targeted location which inflicts damage over time while the enemy is within the puddle. Can be glyped for a 25% chance to earn a Deception stack with each tick.




    Class: Titan
    Type: Melee Tank (Special)
    Armor: Metal (Heavy)
    Race: Amani (M/F), Baraka, Popori
    Special: Stack Mechanic

    Once herald "The Fist to crush the Giants", 'Titan' was a term deemed to a special group of warriors who would stand firm even when the ground shook violently. Wielding a giant two handed mace crafted specifically for the titan and imbued with an arcane magical gem, a Titan is able to stand up against anything in it's way. Using powerful slams, whirlwinds, and protection sigils to pave the way to victory for any party.

    Possible Attacks
    Titan Hammer (Auto Attack) - A series of swings that generates aggro.

    Iron Fist (Block) - Titan can block frontal attacks for a certain amount of Behemoth stacks. If used during Auto Attack #3, will knockdown the enemy. If used during Auto Attack #4, will stun the enemy.

    Head Crusher - The Titan winds up it's hammer and strikes the enemy, knocking them down while inflicting heavy damage and blocking damage at the same time.

    Mountain Hammer - While an enemy is knocked down the Titan can jump into the air and come slaming into the enemy to perform a series of attacks afterwards.




    Class: Conjurer
    Type: Healer (Special)
    Armor: Cloth
    Race: High Elf (M/F), Human (M/F)
    Special: Minion Mechanic

    A Conjurer taps into Arcane Magic and Argon Technology to combine both into something extraordinary. Using a potent resource by extracting the life force from others to gain "Void Ether", a Conjurer is able to summon minions and use them for the Conjurer's own will. Brandishing a double sided sword spear that chains off into a violent whip, able to hit close and medium range targets to stack Void Ether.

    Possible Attacks
    Sign of Midnight (Auto Attack) - A series of attacks that stack Void Ether. 4th attack summons a minion.

    Eclipse - The Conjurer switches spots with a minion and able to block/dodge away from attacks.

    Miasma - All minions are sacrificed leaving a haze cloud behind which heals teammates.

    Vengeance Reborn - Fires an AoE spell at a target inflicting damage over time, each tick grants nearby teammates health and stacking attack speed buff (1% each tick max 5%) for the duration. Summons 2 minions when the effect ends.
