Gear setup for IoD Brawler

Actually, my main character to farm is my IoD Brawler, i'm actually using:
+12 Guille Weapon with the rolls: Top: Decrease Cooldown, Bot: Decrease cooldowm / Flat damage / Damage against aggroed monsters. + 2 Pounding, 1 wrathful, 1 carving, 4 Crit accesories + 4 keen.
I want to know what I can change/add to improve my performance overall, I take like 1 and half hour to do all the 8 vanguards, starting from the harder to easy

Comments

  • But as far as I know, IoD bams dont get enraged, thats why i'm using double cdr instead double enrage damage

You tested? What makes you say that?

They can enrage, but not usually naturally. Dungeon bosses for example will enrage throughout the fight naturally, but BAMs generally won't do that, you'll have to use an enrage skill to do that.

Even if they did enrage naturally you can kill them so quickly that it's not worth rolling for double enrage for IoD. At least if you're ONLY doing IoD with that class that is.
  • IOD BAMs are somehow perma-enraged, no matter what class you play, just use focused crystal and all enraged % damage you can get, enraging skills do not work for them. If you don't believe me, try it yourself, do a few hits woth focused crystal and then again with unequiped crystal, damage difference is HUGE. Also if you're good with your brawler and you can block all/most of the attacks, you can try go slaying crystal setup, it's more risky but when I switched to slaying I can't complain really, damage is really nice and I can kill BAMs without getting hit. Your damage should be good enough even without slaying, just go for enraged damage.
  • You don't need 2x CD on weapon. The trick is you need to use another skill before ending of current skill animation. As a brawler, don't wait until your skill gets done. You just need to perfect guard with canceling skill with another skills. Just keep practice. Later, you can keep 90% GF during many boss fight.

This is just wrong. The BAMs clearly change color and become faster and you deal more damage.

Yeah, what I posted was clearly very wrong lol. For whatever reason I was thinking of a different game, and typing on the TERA forums. rip xD

from my own testing, the IoD bams give a near 90% enraged status.
