    Why are events (even yearly ones) such a "wowie" surprise that details cannot be released until the day it happens?

    We know gift boxes happen every year. A date or a teaser to what we could expect would be nice before the last minute.

    I'm not trying to be obtuse, but... given that you already know it's happening (confirmed), what is it going to change knowing in advance?

    I assume they're waiting until things are finalized because the forum always roasts them for "breaking promises" (particularly after what happened with dragons, where it got vetoed by BHS after it had been communicated), so now they've stopped saying much until it's basically done and ready (and presumably approved by the boss).

    no date given is just more lack of communication and to be honest there's a huge lack of lately.

    Well the reason why it would be nice to have a date before it drops in your face is so you can be ready. Some people are bussy irl and may wanna make some time in advance to take advantage of events. Or in this case, set some money aside for it? Idk, it wouldn't hurt to let us know like, a week before it happens :3!

    This is me right now. Getting paid tomorrow but i want to know when this will start so i can set aside the money for gifts.

    People on the forum want it both ways. They want them to be more communicative, but also to hold them to account for every single tentative statement they make when things are not finalized yet. It's like they believe all the decisions are already made and people already know the details of things, but are just holding them back to be obstinate or something, and then when the tentative decisions change, they were deliberately lying.

    Now I do agree that there are some other cases where simply being more communicative is helpful -- like the lag issues, even if there's no real solution. But I tend to think they should avoid making statements that could be perceived as promises if they don't know for sure, because they always get burnt.

    In any event, it'll probably be here soon enough.

    TBH I miss the old days where gm/cms were active. When you would login and see active admins on global chat. Have an issue? Ask for a GM on global and one would IM you.

    I see PC members with more posts than paid staff. wut?!?

    Tonka while not amazing at the game was one of the best admins we have ever seen. why? he was active with the community and it didn't seem like just a job to him.

    Rushing in last minute to promote something while ignoring massive game changing issues is such a slap in the face to the community.

    We were promised more transparency moving forward months ago but that has been forgotten.

    GM / CM's are active. They just don't post. Just look at their profile to see when they were last online. +1 to this post anyway.


    According to past events for Wintera Gift boxes, they were all introduced this week around this time so it should be anytime hopefully, but that remains to be seen.

    Well have to wait till tomorrow for news. Thursdays are usually the days when EME release news or updates regarding the shop. By the way, i can only assume this, but i think the brand new mount, Hover Bike like i like to call it, will be in the shop tomorrow, or if they release the Gifting Center tomorrow, it will be a possible reward from it. Why i am making this assumption? Because EU TERA released em a few days ago as an event reward:

    My hope is that EME kicks it up a notch this Christmas, and release a really good Gifting Center, with this mount included and many more items that we still are missing in the shop.
