yea like with $200 or so i got the year free elite plus the other stuff and the gifts last year but this year idk.......any mount atm that isnt a dragon doesnt seem worth it and those first set of prizes are jsut trash i have a few of those already from the past years.....
planned to spend max amount to get the usual 1 year of elite as well but won't be buying even 1.
This is fact that they raised the price because I have a post here that states you need 31980 EMP to reach the final threshold.

Last year and previous years it was 1 year of free elite status. Very disappointed. I had plans for this.
@Spacecats why did you guys raise the price of over 8k more EMP at a grand total of 39980 EMP to reach the last prize? It's not even 1 year elite status this year.
I wish they would of done elite. it's not worth it without it at all.
Price increase per box, and this isn't exactly small either, We are taking about a good 8k jump in EMP. Comparing Tera's stability as of late vs. that of last year... This really has me sitting on the fence.
Lastly, and I really do find myself question this: Last year we have 1 year of free elite as the 20 box reward, which I feel is a decent reward for literally spending around 300ish dollars in one go. This year, we need to spend roughly $400, and we get... another mount? one that is completely identical to the 10 box reward if not for a recolor. What the hell? Who comes up with this stuff? Do you really take your community as mindless sheeps mindlessly throwing money at you? Am I the only one to feel somewhat insulted and a slap in the face from EME for this?
Now that they've launched it, they can't lower the price because people have already bought it and they can't issue them refunds. Reprogramming it to change the rewards isn't possible either now that it's out.
It would have been better to seek feedback earlier (Player Council didn't see it either), but now what's done is done unfortunately.
If the prizes aren't good, people won't buy it. That's the best metric there is about the success (or lack of success) for the program. They're not expecting the average person to send 20 gifts in the first place at those prices.
Let's say you had to include a mount in the package somehow. Well, there's one mount people have been foaming at the mouth over, since it gives a stat boost. You could've dropped that in there. Instead you gave a mount that looks like it belongs in a different game. I don't know about other people, but I never wanted that thing. The day I saw it in ktera I shook my head. And yet, here it is as the end-all-be-all thing that I should feel is somehow worth over 300 dollars. Or the gym costume... like, it's a reskin of an already existing costume, in a set color, with a nametag plastered on it. My main is an elin. She wears a lot of blue. This outfit is red and can't be dyed. Already I don't want it.Then there's the length of the shorts; there are some really attractive gym outfits with shorter spats, but that's not the outfit that got repurposed. Instead it's that other gym outfit that was so unwanted that people didn't even buy it for the purpose of reselling it later. From a revenue standpoint, all I see is lost potential. From a consumer standpoint, I'm just glad I won't be tempted to whip out my debit card.
Are you serious? Those ugly af gym costumes?! They're one of the most generic, boring, underwhelming costumes in the entire game with a nametag plastered on the front? They didn't even take the time to make it look like the nametag is meant to be there, it's like someone copy and pasted it off MS Paint.
The one year I participated in the golden box gift event (granted i think this was a valentine's day one, it's been a few years) I sent 5 boxes to friends and got a dyeable rida's in return-- this was before the BAM Killer event so it was the first time that particular costume had been released. It felt totally worth it. And all my friends got character-bound dress party costumes, which were new at the time. It was good.

These boxes cost $20-25 each, but the contents don't reflect that.
It's mostly the subjective value that's the issue, not the objective one. Like, all the new gold inner armor, mounts, and cosmetics are lootbox rares, so objectively speaking they're worth $20-25+ (certainly if you rolled the lootbox you'd pay more on average -- average price/rare is at least $40). But because they put *all* the inner armor in it, you have the kinds nobody wants too. The consumables might have been okay too, except they've been hugely devalued by events and other recent lootboxes. T11 feed will work out, but unfortunately prem alk and spellbind are low right now.
Consumables are ok though because people can use them for awakened enchanting if needed.
