Why is SS so broken?
AOE indicators are an absolute lie, cage indicator is smaller than the actual aoe so you get hit when you can see clearly you weren't in the aoe. Backswing one shot circle is completely off, you can stand halfway into it as a tank and still not get hit because the actualy aoe is like 5m behind the indicator. Did ktera fix this? Am I going to have to endure the cancer of dying in cage every time even when I'm not in red forever?

Learn the attacks, learn where they hit, and dodge properly using your own knowledge.

Doesn't solve the cage problem.
Missing the point that a feature is broken and should be fixed not worked around, but I guess you just want to flop your e-peen around telling me to learn the game, for your information I do know the attacks, nowhere in OP did i state I was getting killed by the bosses normal attacks. I said the CAGE is killing me because the aoe indicator is off.
I guess it's too much to ask from the community that you read the OP before you go straight to being patronising.

Tell me how would you do cage without looking at the indicator, you don't know where it is going to go, there is no indication other than the red aoe so stop talking crap about react based on knowledge, you know it's a random attack that you need to see but you just want to look like a big man on forums. You might as well do cage with you eyes shut if you don't look at indicator.
It must take a higher degree than you possess to see that's not the point. Here I'll use a simple analogy to explain, if I could I would draw you a picture in crayon.
You take your car to a mechanic for new brakes when you drive your car the brakes don't work, so you go back to your mechanic and he says simply don't use your brakes...U N D E R S T A N D?

Learn to look in the future, you should know the boss attacks before he does them and where to sit in order to avoid them.

So you obviously don't use your breaks, when you get to where you need to go, jump out of the car and let the car keep going.

Indicators in SS work just fine for me and others I've run with. Whether it's inside the cage or any other circles, just have to make sure you're out of it in time. One of his attacks has a medium size aoe circle followed quickly by a smaller circle that you have to dodge when the bigger circle disappears. Maybe take some screenshots next time you're in there and share with us.
When FIHM was released I believe some people made posts about how difficult it was to clear because of carpets etc. Just have to practice and learn to anticipate attacks really. Not much to it.
I havent had any problems with the aeo sizes. i usually take a position where i know where the 4 aoes in cage will appear and simple need to walk a small bit. ive never died unexpectedly even though i was outside the aeo. in most cases, standing on the border counts as standing inside or your races hitbox is still on the border maybe... idk
Backswing is completely off, cuz ive dodged it a couple times too early without taking damage when it actually hits.
either way, i can only suggest you make a video of the broken things, and send it in as a support ticket or something. This is best feedback EME/BHS can get from us
