    what scares me is queuing inside a dungeon and seeing that we have a priest and just idling at the start... waiting for priest to buff us... but it never happens... then the priest runs off and starts the dungeon. my heart sinks a little every time. i guess the same can be said for running with a mystic who never turns their auras on.

    no weapon glow is pretty scary too, like not even blue at least. almost unheard of these days.

    I'm a terrible member in a pug because I'm one of those that literally can't see Imp's pizza no matter what I try. :( I'm guilty and I'm glad I don't need to go back in there. "I can't see cage" [filtered] sucks to type and see.

    Usually when people say hi, they tend to be the ones who die first and die throughout. It's a friendly gesture and it might not always be the case but it's stressful to see that at the beginning of a run.

    I always say hi and rarely die, sorry to stress you out lol.
  • *Queues up for a hardmode*
    Tank : "I haven't played in almost six months!"
    Healer : "Well I haven't played in almost a year!"
    Two of the three DPS : "I hit level 65 ten minutes ago!"

    guys pls

    Joined a rmhm on my lancer through LFG few days ago thinking the party I'm joining would be good. Of course as usual, the 1st 2 bosses were good but the last boss was where all the trouble is at. One of the dps kept dying at times and getting through the front of the boss? Not sure if that person was desyncing but I never seen ppl go through the boss reaching me where I'm tanking in the front. Also many times I was having to getting 2 spheres even when all were alive and was asking myself what is going on here? I also end up taking curse a few times and having to tank with that. It's fun to tank in that but given the situation I was dealing with, it made me have to be really careful and defensive.

    It was an odd situation; we wiped like 3 times before clearing it. Most issue was at the 30 percent and under knock back phase priest kept dying. I got jailed like 2 or 3 times times and survived but the priest died once when we were targetted. I don't get it how a priest can die so fast, especially I was the one that was jailed and when they can cleanse themselves.

    One of the initial wipes was at when boss had like 2 percent HP left; really made me think,"oh really, I can't believe this". After we cleared, I realized that the mystic and myself almost carried whoever was in that run and there was just way too much going on to even list what was happening through out the battle. It's like if I made one mistake, we would wipe. As frustrated as I was, I just said tyfp and left without saying anything. It's things like these that make me hesitant to join lfg's of people that I don't recognize and this is why all good tanks only run with Guild/Friends/Statics than IM/LFG.
  • Not really a PUG but perhaps worthy of mentioning. I was in a RMNM party, mainly guildies or friends. Lancer tank, Ninja and Gunner (me) DPS and dual heal. Everything was fine for the 1st boss but at about 75% on the 2nd boss the tank says "brb - door" and immediatly stopped all activity. I thought he was bound to die almost instantly but without hesitation the Priest yanked the tank away to safety and we 4-manned until he returned, aggro switching between ninja and me, while the priest occasionally yanked the tank to safety whenever the battle moved in his direction. It almost went perfectly, we got to around 30% before the tank returned and the healers kept his AFK [filtered] alive for almost all that time (things got hairy about 20 seconds before he returned and they had to let him die to keep everyone else alive).

    IT was great work from the healers to keep the tank alive for so long.
  • That's awesome.

    unless hurricane weapon for slaying runs lol (I would masterwork and leave it at +0).

    I actually have the same situation as you XD. No matter what settings inside and outside of the game I just can't render it reliably. Thankfully it is the only dungeon so far I am held back by invisible carpets, or else I would have left this game already.

    Then you get mystics that put on all auras but damage.

    What I love seeing is tho, is.. hahah.. just saw this the other day. Someone was later than the rest of us putting on relentless for last boss RMH. Their HP% dips and the mystic, who was waiting on the otherside of the threshold throws a perfectly aimed HP mote at the person's feet. And just stares at them stonecold from across the distance like 'yeah eat my ball, [filtered], were you expecting a lock on?'

    Few awkward seconds later I take pity and throw a resto burst under everyone.

    Speaking of mystics it makes me sad when the slayer/zerk who just zoned in ignores all the blue motes I prepared for them. :cry:

    Need to access the memory banks for this one. Suffice it to say that most of these occur when I'm priesting (I have the worst luck with party members while as a priest for some reason).

    Hear:
    - any kind of derision toward another player
    - people popping off that I'm not covering their mistakes (see first point)
    - I ask if anyone's new and no one says anything until they've died about a gajillion and one times

    See:
    - a high-mobility class not using any of said mobility skills
    - brawlers who don't seem to know they're a tank class
    - people who pull before the tank
  • I hate when i'm levelling a tank and get queued with a mystic using Thrall of Protection. Then you tell them to just despawn it and they don't read, or keep trolling with his infinite aggro tool so u need to keep spamming shout/provoke in order to keep aggro.
  • I hate the Thrall of Protection too....especially when they start to complain about aggro not being properly controlled.

    I hate when I'm healing and get into a dungeon with a tank and the tank is just facetanking every hit. Too much stress. It's especially bad on lower levels because you need to heal the tank or they'll die and as soon as you cast a heal on them every monster runs straight for you. You're not blocking or holding aggro, what exactly are you doing?

    .

    Idk about this priest, but if you're rly good at this game, you should try something:

    *Use a VPN program, select an asian server or somewhere till you got 200 ms+ constant ping;
    *Play a priest, remember: There's no teleport jaunt to skip the mech and save your [filtered] on the laser+cage+stagger+bleeding;
    *Just cleanse and walk/dodge/do the same thing as you usually do on your 30 ms lancer;
    *Count your deahts;
    *Come back here and post your usual "get gud" or...inform yourself and read this thread: https://forums.enmasse.com/tera/discussion/9359/rmhm-laser-rubberbanding#latest

    Congratulations, now you know how like almost half of NA population play this game!

    P.S: Ik it's possible with some tricks, but i rly think ppl from NA sometimes should experience high ping rmhm.
