Is it still worth to work towards +15 Ambush if the new gear sets are coming out soon?

Get the gear ahead of time, do red quests till you hit 20-ish (high enough level to do Bastion. Since the new class is coming out, queue timers are going to pop almost instantly and it will be easy to farm dungeon xp.
