I did get the pets. The rates weren't that great though and you then have more rng if you want a specific one. You don't really buy these to get the occasional auto fishing BAF, you get it because you like how the pet looks.

I like how they set up the event this time. The dungeons chosen are accessible to most people, time to complete is more than reasonable, and the reward looks nice.
