The LFG system all but killed the queue system, so LFG is the better way to go. As for advancing story quests, there are solo instances for most of the leveling dungeons to advance story quests.

Since that's more of a QoL change, I'd assume that isn't a priority and may be thrown in if they get to it. (Or may be slowly working on it on the side).

It seems that the issue is non Elite members are unable to enter Ghillieglade. Unfortunately I have not seen any mention of extending highlight beyond the extra 5 hours we were given.
