You do still get rested exp at 65 by leaving your character in cities/towns. Back when 60 became 65, players had that rested exp added to their total. BUT, the 61-65 exp requirements were so monumental that the rested exp was pretty much null.

Just do the dungeons and dailies you can. Add pvp if you like that as well, as pvp is said to be a good source of mats and gold. In the end, if you lack something, you will have something else to compensate with.
