  • It's to prevent you from kicking someone at the end of a boss so you can monopolize the loot. Not really ridiculous. Of course, it can be abused both ways, since you can't kick afk's in battlegrounds or instances.

  • It'll run fine. I ran off an 256 GB hard drive that was like 7 years old with no performance issues in the past. Might be laggier now, but you should be able to run it without an issue.
