My guess is that they did not take this into consideration when programming the account limit in. You could always have someone leave, invite your alt and then reinvite the person. (View Post)1 -

If your guild is at 100/100 members then the game won't allow you to invite any characters into the guild, alt or not. Must be a bug or they were lazy while programming. (View Post)1 -
